One Hour, fifty-one and 49 sec (official time). My goal was to go under 2 hours.Better than I thought I would do. Really even pace. 8 laps of a 1.25 mile course on the Asbury Park, NJ boardwalk.
My PR for the race is 1:21:41 in 1995 (13 years and many pounds lighter ago)
From my watch: First 5 miles: 55:56
Second 5 miles: 55:54
First time I've done an even pace like that in a race. Although the last lap was more effort to maintain pace.
Next goal, lose 20 lbs and shave 30 minutes off the time. At least 20 minutes, one minute per pound.
